| Level one: Outer order, this is the introductory phase
of the work, in which one begins to build up a magical
personality,connections to the mysteries, magical dimensions, and the
currents of the order. The student is to study the Voudon Gnostic
workbook, starting at the beginning of the text. Answers to the lesson
questions are to be sent to the Sovereign Grand MasterAbsolute, guidance
will be given. Level Two: This is the first of the inner-order levels,
in which the student completes the workbook, and will be given special
work and further studies in the magical work of the order.
Level Three: This is the second of the inner-order levels, in which
the Rite of Esoteric Voudoun is received. This level will include policy
and laws, as well as the advanced focus of the order.
GRADE SYSTEM OF THE LA COULEUVRE NOIRE
The La Couleuvre Noire degree systems consists four degrees, with a
probationer’s and administrative degree added to make it six grades in
all.
The four actual degrees are as follows:
1 : The Lave-Tete - Initiate -or Sub- Deacon
2 : The Canzo- Serviteour-or Deacon
3 : The Houngan- or Priest
4 : The Baille-ge- or Bishop
These four actual degrees comes from both Haitian Voudon and from
American Hoodoo Tradition.
The L.C.N. has issued various rituals of self initiation to
probationers, these exercises are for the purpose of self- development
only, and do not reflect any grade or degree status within the order.
